The Big 4 (0) by Megan Crane/Caitlin Crews

I don't really know how this happened, but I have four books out this month from my romance-writing alter-ego, Caitlin Crews.  I'm also turning A Certain Age that very prominently features the number 4.  And a 0.  I feel that this can't be a coincidence!

Here are the fabulous four:

Wanted: a dutiful replacement wife!

Becca Whitney has always lived with the knowledge that her aristocratic family disowned her as a baby. So when she receives a summons to return to the ancestral mansion, she's intrigued.

Theo Markou Garcia needs a wife — or at least someone who looks strikingly similar to his infamous fiancée.  Becca would be the perfect replacement...

The deal: masquerade as the Whitney heiress in exchange for her own true fortune, but do not fall for your husband!

Dare she disobey the King?

Kiara Fredrick is living an ordinary
life until, one whirlwind romance
with Sheikh Azrin and the largest
diamond ring in the Khatan desert
later, Kiara discovers that not only
is she a princess but she’s also
become public property overnight.

As Azrin stands to take the throne,
Kiara discovers that royal life might
be enough to destroy their once
strong marriage…
But Kings of Khatan do not divorce—
and Queens of Khatan should know
better than to ask…

Can Kiara remain defiant in the
face of a craving hotter than the
scorching desert sands?

EXCLUSIVE! ARISTOCRAT
RECLUSE WEDS!

Rafe McFarland, 8th Earl of
Pembroke – and 21st century
pin-up – has secretly wed ex-
model and tabloid darling Angel
Tilson! Angel’s long been
believed to be in financial
difficulty, prompting feverish
speculation that her marriage
to the tortured billionaire is
one of the strictest convenience…

Bearing terrible scars from his
time in the military, Rafe rarely
leaves his remote Scottish estate.
And with the terms of this deal
negotiated, possibly behind tightly
closed bedroom doors, is Rafe
demanding repayment –
in kind – from his new wife…?

This special volume pairs my
debut book, PURE PRINCESS,
BARTERED BRIDE with my dear
friend and mentor Jane Porter’s
classic romance HOLLYWOOD
HUSBAND, CONTRACT WIFE.
It’s one of my favorites of Jane’s
stories, and such an honor to be
in book with her!

In celebration of my fabulous birthday, and because I have no particular wisdom to share on that topic (maybe in another 40 years?), I'm giving away a set of these books.

Just leave a comment to enter, and I'll pick a winner next week.

Happy summer reading!

Megan Crane aka Caitlin Crews is the author of, at last count, twenty four novels.  She feels that alone should have led to some kind of wisdom if the years themselves didn't quite do the trick--but she'll have to get back to you on that.  She also teaches writing in places like UCLA Extension's Writers' Program. You can find out more about her at www.megancrane.com or www.caitlincrews.com.  And she hopes you will.

Twenty-four novels??? Did you start writing at the age of ten?!

I need to hang around you for a while and learn the art of focus!

  16. 40! Snort. You are still a baby. With an impressive body of work. I already have two of the books on the give-away in ebooks because you are an autobuy when I can, but being way older than you I still love the feel of paper in my hands. So naturally I'm entering the competition. With four books out we can hope you could afford the postage to Australia. #kidding.

  18. You guys are all so cool. I'm not forty YET. I have a couple weeks left of these glorious thirties... (To be honest? I kind of can't wait to be in my 40s. Bring it on!)

  19. Happy birthday - Megan. I don't expect one extra year will make you look any older than you did in Australia. And that was more like 29 than 39.

See you in LA I hope.
